Alisha Hezel, DVM

Dr. Alisha Hezel grew up in Memphis and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Memphis in 2004, and her Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.  Dr. Hezel received additional specialty training during a one-year rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City as well as in Melbourne, Australia where she practiced for a year.  She now enjoys the diversity and personalized care she can provide through general practice, with special interests in internal medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery.  Dr. Hezel also sits on the board of the Memphis Veterinary Medical Association.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, scuba diving, playing with her Australian Shepherd Cali, and spending time with family and friends.
